David Mastran

Upon graduation from West Point, David Mastran was commissioned in the U.S. Air Force. He served a year in Vietnam assessing the bombing campaign, followed by a tour in the Air Force Operations Analysis Office at the Pentagon. After leaving the service, he worked as a civilian in the Departments of Defense and Health, Education, and Welfare, and as a consultant in the private sector. He then founded Maximus, Inc., a company that provides business services to government agencies, as well as Quaver Music, which creates technology products for use in music education. Here, he discusses the experiences and values that have enabled him to succeed in his many endeavors.
